In a chilling thread on Twitter Masih Alinejad, an Iranian human rights activist who fled to the United States, reveals the bloody history of the Islamic Revolution in Iran which included mass executions of dissidents including women and children.
In the early years of the Islamic Revolution tens of thousands of innocent people were massacred by the Iranian terrorist regime, women, children, Christians, Baha'i and other non-Muslim minorities executed in masse.
It was Khomeini's fatwa that led to the killing of 30,000 in Iran.
More than 30,000 political prisoners were executed in the 1988 massacre - CHILDREN as young as 13 were hanged from cranes, six at a time, in a barbaric two-month purge of Iran's prisons.
Issued shortly after the end of the Iran-Iraq war in July 1988 and an incursion into western Iran by the Iranian resistance, the fatwa reads: "It is decreed that those who are in prisons throughout the country and remain steadfast in their support for the Monafeqin (Mojahedin) are waging war on God and are condemned to execution."
Since the Islamic Revolution Iran has been one of the world's worst human rights violator. The Ayatollah regime in Iran systematically violates women's rights, LGBT rights, minority rights and children's rights.
The regime in Iran uses the death penalty as a tool to suppress and silence a disgruntled society the majority of whom live under the poverty line, are unemployed and deprived of freedom of speech.
The Iranian terrorist regime and its affiliates in the Middle East (Shiite militias and terrorist organizations) implement the Islamic penalty code of 1,400 years ago which include public amputations, floggings, executions by hanging and even stoning to death.
The Iranian people are being brutally oppressed by a religious regime that uses "Islamic scriptures" to justify the execution of children, minorities, human rights activists, Journalists, protesters, etc.
Sadly, the UN is turning a blind eye to Iran’s regime continued practice of unjustified executions and inhuman torture methods.
The Islamic Republic of Iran is an elected member of the U.N. Commission on Criminal Justice. Iran was also appointed to the UN Women's rights committee that judges complaints of women's rights violations.
According to UN, the violations that Iran will judge include:
• Stereotypical attitudes towards role of women.
• Violation of women's rights defenders' freedom of expression & assembly • Deaths & torture of women in custody.
• Impunity for violations of human rights of women.

  1. It would be nice if pages like this had some ads other than BS junk! That said, this article should be an eye opener.
