Pakistan: A post-mortem report on the body of a woman who was stoned to death in Jamshoro district has confirmed that severe torture was inflicted on her, which led to her death. According to the report, the stoning victim had a fractured skull with her neck and facial bones broken, which severely affected her brain. This is another brutal case of honor killing in Sindh.
As many as 108 women fell victim to 'honour killings' in Sindh over 2019 alone, according to a Pakistani police report which recorded statistics from January 31, 2019 to January 30, 2020.
As you can see in the video below, the victim's father crying for justice for his daughter who was brutally stoned to death by her husband and his family members, while her killers roam free.
Honour killings in Pakistan are known locally as karo-kari. Pakistan has the highest number of documented and estimated honour killings per capita of any country in the world; about one-fifth of the world's honour killings are performed in Pakistan (1000 out of the 5000 per year total).
According to Islamic tradition, the "honor" of the entire family is measured by women's behavior. Any action that may be perceived as harming the family's honor may cost the woman her life. In other words, a woman is required not only to obey Islam including its strict codes of modesty but also to completely obey her male (guardians husband, father, brother and even uncle).
The UN is a threat to world peace - the corrupt international organization elected countries like Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Somalia, Nigeria and Qatar as senior members of the Human Rights Council.
130 countries including Western countries voted to elect Afghanistan to the UN Human Rights Council, the same country where child marriage, forced marriage, honor killings and Domestic violence are social norms. Pakistan and Qatar also gained membership at the Human Rights Council, Countries where violence against women is at an alarming level. Women of all ages are enduring brutal physical and sexual abuse in their own homes.
