Pakistani leader confronts BBC "I have a right to beat my wife... my property"

Pakistan's Council of Islamic Ideology made a recommendation saying that a man could beat his wife.
As you can see in the video below BBC reporter spoke to the head of the council, to ask him why he had made such a proposal.
In most Islamic countries there are no laws protecting women's rights, or prohibiting child marriage.
This is how Sharia law is practiced all over the Middle East Asia and Africa.
Women are considered second-class citizens, with NO freedom, NO human rights and NO autonomy over their own bodies.
Sharia includes Child marriage, forced marriage, Child brides, polygamy, FGM, Acid attacks, honor killings, beheading and stoning. Sharia has no place in the civilized world.
